Day 4 Letters
I polished up these letters today so that I could send them off to a friend. I had already done the designs, but not the final versions. Today I did it.

Day 2 was supposed to be a bunny painting, but one of my students (a kindergartener) took it and made it their own, so it was replaced with the one above. Until tomorrow.

So this is my first post for 2011. Wowsers! It's been a year already!?!?! My only goal for 2011 is to finish the month.
I love crosswords and I usually spend the week figuring out the NYT Sunday crossword. Here's what I've done so far.
After school today the girls wanted to create so I brought out the collage box. I joined in to create "Sophia", named by my daughter. Her best friend's name is Sophia, hence the first name she came up with. I let her do the character description, as I am getting annoyed with them. It was feeling a little too cutesy and I'm not in a cutesy mood.
Words from my 4 year old daughter's mouth...Better Picture of Don aka Derek.
I tried to add this photo to the other post, but I couldn't figure it out. I feel like a chicken with my head cut off running around posterous...am I the only one who feels like they haven't got a clue?? I'm usually good with computers, but this format is too email based for me. My inbox is overloaded by the big P. It should be called Postalker. Okay. On to day 5. Truly.
This is Don, but all his friends call him Derek. In his life he has been to 736 Yankees games, has eaten 3518 hotdogs, has snacked on 1522 bags of cracker jacks, and has drank 5970 beers. Right now he's drinking beer # 5971.
This is Rosie.
Yes, it took longer than 1/2 an hour to create. I get caught up and can't stop until I'm satisfied that it's finished.
